Salary: £4o,000 pro rata OR a day rate of £160 – £180
Working pattern: part-time 3-4 days per week
Position: 6 month fixed term contract
Location: Remote, UK (with some travel required for in person meetings, events or media appearances)
The Position:
Our award winning charity client are seeking a part-time Campaigns and Policy Programme Manager. This is a fantastic time to join the team as they further their ambitious plans to make the online space safer for Black women, raising awareness of safeguarding against digital misogynoir. You will lead the programme management and implementation of policy, public affairs, research and campaigns work – lobbying government and tech companies and encouraging communities to prioritise and take action when it comes to online abuse.
Requirements:
- Strong ability to construct and deliver research to support wider public affairs and campaigns plans.
- Strong experience leading campaigns and/or policy work.
- Ideally strong existing networks in government and/or tech and/or press.
- Experience in public speaking (including panels and media appearances)
- Understanding of integrating a Black feminist intersectional lens into advocacy work for Black women’s safety.
