The Position:
Our global charity client are recruiting an interim Communications Officer. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Communications and take an active role in delivering and monitoring the organisation’s global communications activities across all channels (including media, social media and website). You will update the website with news, blogs and features, use your excellent multi-media skills to select, edit and distribute images, draft press releases and respond to media enquiries, and research and distribute campaign updates e-newsletters.
Requirements:
- Excellent experience of working in a busy communications team with a track record of designing, producing and delivering successful social media campaigns through a variety of channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
- Experience of working creatively using a range of multi-media skills and tools, including social media channels, WordPress, Mailchimp, photo-editing and basic film, design and graphic production.
- Strong writing skills and a good eye for detail with the ability to write clear, concise and engaging content for a variety of audiences.
- Excellent ability to multi-task with a flexible approach to planning, prioritising and delivering a range of different projects.
