The position:
Our well-respected health charity client is recruiting a Head of Research Programmes to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role managing a significant and world leading research programme. This will involve working with global experts and managing a number of complex work streams and collaborations. Reporting to the Assistant Director and as part of the SMT you will manage a small team and act as a spokesperson on science-related media activities, This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who is looking to progress into senior management and be responsible for a research department.
Requirements:
- You will ideally have a science-related postgraduate qualification with experience of writing biomedical and epidemiological reports and briefings.
- You will have experience of managing research programmes.
- You have demonstrable experience in building partnerships across the health care and research sector and with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills including financial and budgetary management.
