The position:
Our leading health charity client are recruiting a Head of Research. In this fantastic new role, you will drive forward a new research strategy, and develop innovative, new approaches to research support through direct grant giving and indirect research support. Working as our client’s internal expert, you will work with colleagues across the organisation including services, policy, marketing, communications and fundraising. You will also line manage 2 brilliant researchers.
Requirements:
- You will have strong experience leading on research management, ideally within the charity sector.
- You will have a proven track record of managing, motivating and developing a team.
- Experience of developing and implementing a research strategy, including developing new funding streams.
- Excellent experience developing strong relationships with external stakeholders, clinicians and senior academics.
