Position

Our global health charity client is seeking a Head of Research Funding. In this key role, you will manage an international portfolio of research projects and contribute to the science strategy of the organisation. You will review and evaluate the impact of funded research for science communications and fundraising efforts.  You will drive research innovation in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders and work closely with Fundraising colleagues and their supporter networks to assist income generation.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in research management in a research funding organisation.
  • Knowledge of measuring impact and evaluating research programmes.
  • Excellent understanding of the role of diet, nutrition and physical activity in cancer prevention and survival.
  • You will be educated to postgraduate level in biological or life sciences.
