Interim Senior Influencing Advisor
Salary: £300 – £350 day rate, 2/3 days per week
Position: 3 months
Location: Home-based, United Kingdom
The position:
Our international charity client is recruiting an Interim Senior Influencing Advisor. This role will provide significant support to develop the charity’s relationship with the FCDO and developing strong relationships with the UK government to influence FCDO policy. You will work alongside colleagues in other teams to manage relations with strategic partners including the World Bank and UN agencies. In addition, you will also lead the development of policy briefings, concept notes and have the opportunity to attend international forums and conferences.
Requirements:
- You will have extensive experience in international influencing within the disability sector.
- You will have proven experience of influencing global INGO’s, donors, governments and other partners.
- Strong relationship management experience including with coalitions and global networks.
- Experience providing strategic advice on complex policy issues .
- Start date: as soon as possible
