Location: Home-Based (with travel to London office when required)
The Position:
Our leading charity client is recruiting a Media Officer. In this role you join an established high performing team, and contribute to building our client’s profile across national print, broadcast and online media. You will influence decision-makers and support fundraising activities to enable the continued delivery of vital services nationally.
Requirements:
- You will be an experienced media professional, ideally with a background in newspaper or broadcast journalism.
- You will have a proven track record of working in a busy press office, generating excellent coverage and writing compelling copy to suit different audiences.
- You will be a keen social media enthusiast, and have strong relationships with journalists across print, broadcast and online media.
- You will have the ability to develop and deliver innovative media plans.
