The position:
Our Leading National Charity are recruiting for a Press Officer within their busy Media Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large award winning media team and to work on complex and high profile issues. You will deliver national media and write captivating copy for a diverse audience across to develop and deliver ground-breaking media plans using your strong media contacts across broadcast, print and digital.
Requirements:
• Great news-sense & an eye for stories for news & features.
• Experience in a fast-paced media team, press office or PR function; ideally with a journalistic background, working on national media.
• Adept at delivering high quality proactive and reactive comms to promote & protect the organisations reputation.
• Experienced in writing Press Releases, pitching to journalists, responding to journalist enquiries, with proven success in achieving positive coverage in a range of relevant media nationally.
