About the role

Z2K are looking for an experienced PR and Communications Manager to help drive their position as an influential, informed and powerful voice for change. You will be joining at an exciting time, when they are launching a new organisational strategy alongside an updated charity brand.

You will work closely with the Director of Policy & Campaigns to develop and implement a cross-organisational PR and communications strategy to maximise reach and brand awareness, maximise income and influence key targets. You will join a high performing Policy and Campaigns team and will line manage a Campaigns Officer. You will be expected to work closely with staff across the organisation, including the team, supporters and communities they serve, co-ordinating and delivering effective organisation wide PR and communications.  An interest in enabling our clients to participate in our communications is essential.

About you

  • You will be an experienced communications all-rounder with a track record of implementing PR and communications strategies which deliver real impact.
  • You will be an effective project manager, able to work collaboratively with staff across the organisation to drive impact.
  • You’ll be confident in working with a variety of stakeholders, including journalists, influencers and people with lived experience.
  • You will be proactive, able to maintain and build relationships, develop effective cross-channel communications, and manage a varied workload.
