Head of External Relations

The position:
Our international development client is recruiting a Head of External Relations to represent their work in Washington DC. This role will develop relationships with key stakeholders including government foundations and think tanks. You will secure new channels of funding, build relationships with donors and broaden awareness of our client’s work.
Requirements:
- You will have significant experience of external representation, including participating on panels and undertaking presentations within the context of international development.
- You will have a proven track record of developing successful fundable ideas and translating them into applications for trusts, foundations, statutory bodies, bilateral or other institutional grant funders.
- Demonstrable networking experience and strong contacts within US government, NGOs based in the US, think-tanks, trusts and foundations
- You will be resident in the US.
