Interim Major Grants Manager
Salary: £42,000 – £44,600 pro rata
Position: 10-12 months FTC (maternity cover)
Location: London, Flexible/Remote
The position:
Our international women’s rights charity client is recruiting a Major Grants Manager. This role will be responsible for securing large grants from statutory and institutional sources and large international foundations. You will also lead on the development and submission of successful bids coordinating the work of colleagues across the organisation, their in-country partners, and consultants. You will manage the business development pipeline for large grants, gaining insight into the funding landscape, building relationships with prospective donors, and ensuring the charity are well-prepare to respond effectively to suitable opportunities.
Requirements:
- You will have extensive experience in securing statutory and institutional and large foundations funding from a wide range of donors internationally and in the UK.
- You will have previous experience of designing and writing proposals for large scale, complex, multi-project programmes that focus on both programmatic and policy work.
- Experience of building relationships with prospective donors which result in funding partnerships
- Knowledge of the funding environment in the women’s rights and international development sector.
