The position:

This well-known charity is recruiting a Media Officer to manage media coverage and enhance the organisations reputation. You identify local stories that have regional or national potential, support local branches to work with their local media and recruit and support media volunteers.

Requirements:

  • You will have experience in a press office or journalism environment
  • You will have regional media contacts and understand regional press.
  • You will have some experience training & mentoring volunteers or staff
  • You will have excellent communication skills and be able to multi-task and work accurately and under pressure
