The Position:
Our client is working at the forefront of driving policy impact and investment into research on the subject of plant-based food. They are recruiting a Policy and Advocacy Manager to identify opportunities to achieve maximum impact for their work in the UK. You will set strategy, develop lobbying plans, build relationships with senior politicians and civil servants, and build alliances with organisations, stakeholders and scientists to help amplify our clients’ ambitious policy advocacy work. You will also act as a spokesperson and representative of our client.
Requirements:
- You will be a great lobbyist with a demonstrable ability to drive policy change.
- Previous experience working on policy at a national (UK or other country), EU or multilateral level.
- Strong ability to influence, network, build alliances and work well in a team.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
