Policy and Advocacy Officer
Salary package: £34,400 to £37,500 (inclusive of gross salary and benefits)
Position: Permanent
Location: Home working
The Position:
Our client is working at the forefront of driving policy impact and investment into research on the subject of plant-based food. They are recruiting a Policy Officer to deliver policy change at EU level by supporting the development and execution of lobbying strategies, supporting the building of relationships with politicians within the European Commission, the Council of the EU and other public institutions, providing research and stakeholder mapping, monitoring the policy landscape and spotting opportunities for influencing and creating policy briefs and other materials.
Requirements:
- You’ll be really enthusiastic about driving policy change at EU level.
- Previous experience working on policy in the EU or national or multilateral level.
- Strong ability to influence, network, build alliances and work well in a team.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
