The Position:
Our health client is recruiting a Policy Lead. This exciting role will contribute to the development of policy and lead on its implementation in England. You will contribute to the development of briefing documents, consultation responses, reports, articles for publications and digital content. You will also work collaboratively with other brilliant teams across the organisation including the Campaigns, Communications, Knowledge and Information teams. Your role will include monitoring the external policy environment to identify opportunities for policy development and influencing key stakeholders. You will also build and maintain relationships with key government departments, Parliament, health and social care organisations and other public, private and voluntary sector stakeholders.
Requirements:
- You will have demonstrable experience of developing and delivering policy, including horizon scanning and networking to keep up to date with policy developments across the UK.
- You will have knowledge of health services and health system policy in England.
- Proven experience of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with external stakeholders.
- The ability to project manage, with initiative, excellent collaborative working and a team approach.
