Salary: £55,000 – £65,000
Position: 12 month FTC
Location: Home based (with some in person meetings in London c3x per week)
The position:
Our dynamic membership client is recruiting a Senior Press and Communications Officer. This is brilliant opportunity to join a respected policy and communications team. You will grow and build engagement with media, implementing a media strategy, developing relationships with key journalists and building the reputation of our client as the go-to organisation for comment and insight in the area of scams across the banking, telecoms and technology sectors. You will also lead the implementation of our client’s comms strategy.
Requirements:
- Excellent experience handling media contacts across b2b and b2c environments
- An established network of media contacts, and the ability to build, nurture and maintain relationships
- Ability to research, write, publish and sell an engaging story
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
